A birth doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, educational and physical support to you during your pregnancy, labor, and immediately after childbirth.

You have the right to an educated and safe birth done with your choices. If you could close your eyes and see your labor and birth what would you imagine? Well that is my goal!

Families are required to take birth education classes, the resources page has some recommended ones. I will discuss your healthcare provider, and your ideal birth. Every birth is a unique experience and my mission is to make them the most positive and happiest experience.

There will be every effort to respect your goals, wishes, and desires for your labor and delivery, please keep in mind that labor can be unpredictable. The primary goal is a healthy outcome for you and your baby.

Why a birth doula?

Doulas help alleviate the natural pains labor brings. As a constant support there is an increase in oxytocin that quickens birth and reduces pain.
